கடந்த இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளாக இலங்கை பாரிய பொருளாதார நெருக்கடிக்கு உள்ளானது யாவரும் அறிந்ததே. அதன் ஒரு தாக்கமாக அரச நிறூவனங்களின் செலவினங்களை குறைப்பது தொடர்பாக பல கருத்துக்கள் முன்வைக்கப்பட்டன. குறிப்பாக இலங்கை மின்சார சபையின் மின்சாரப் பட்டியல்களை அச்சிடுவதற்கு காகிதத் தட்டுப்பாடு ஏற்பட்டிருந்தமையும் அனைவரும் அறிந்த விடயமே.
இதற்கான தீர்வாக இப்போது இங்கை மின்சார சபை இலத்திரனியல் பின்சாரப் பட்டியலை E-bill வழங்க ஆரம்பித்துள்ளது. ஆடம்ப கட்டமாக கொழும்பு மற்றும் அதனை அண்டிய பகுதிகளில் கட்டய அடிப்படையில் காகித பட்டியலுக்குப் பதிலாக இலத்திரனியல் பட்டியலை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
குறித்த பட்டியல் பதிவாளர் (Meter Reader) உரிய பதிவை தமது செயலியில் பதிவேற்றிய உடன் SMS ஊடாகவும், மின்னஞ்சல் ஊடாகவும் PDF வடிவில் அனுப்பப்படுகிறது. இச் சேவை நாட்டின் ஏனைய பகுதிகளில் உள்ளவர்களும் விரும்பும் பட்சத்தில் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும். அதற்காக கீழுள்ள லிங்க் மூலம் பதிவு செய்வதனூடாக பதிவு செய்துகொள்ள முடியும்.
இதற்கு மேலதிகமாக CEB Care எனும் செயலியை (App) மின்சார சபை ஏற்கனவே அறிமுகப்படுத்தியிருந்தமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. இத்த செயலி ஊடாக மின் பட்டியலை செலுத்துதல், முன்னைய கொடுப்பனவு விபரங்களை பாரிசோதித்தல், தற்காலிக சேவை துண்டிப்பு மற்றும் முக்கிய தகவல்களை (Notification) வாடிக்கையாளருக்கு
வழங்குதல் மற்றும் சேவை தொடர்பான முறைப்படுகளை பதிதல், அவை தொடர்பான தகவல்கள், பின்னூட்டல்களை பெறுதல் என பல சேவைகளை பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடிகின்றமையும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
